It is so sad that I draw stereotypes better than real pictures. ;^;

Lol so true, people lack idea

they should think like me: Canniblizime girl with devil wings running around killing people to live but also trying to stop the armagadon XD just makes everything all more unique

still agree, WAY to abuse now days, magical girls are needed every corner. If someone wants to watch a magical girl, watch sailor moon

and what with the freaking pose? Is it relly neccesary? I mean your giving the enemy like 3 whole minutes to escape, smmmmart

Eh, it's probably because we are inundated with it.
I could probably draw the cookiecutter copout with my eyes closed I've seen it so often!

Aaaaaand..... ...if I wore a skirt that short I'd be embarrassed to run around and hop up and down like that; honestly, wouldn't you be afraid of tripping on your ribbon/extremely long hair in those boots and flashing the whole world? I know I would.

Well... I'm pretty sure this style continues to show up most probably because it has become the absolute most basic form of trying to express one's ideas which is to say in many a case, being unoriginal. Most of the original ideas out there have been done by someone, somewhere, so instead of trying something truly revolutionary, we resort to works and pieces that our predecessors have presented in front of our ever attentive eyes. Granted I dislike people who come up with something that has been very obviously done and say the idea was theirs, but I can sympathize with those who aren't easily able to come up with anything that reaches the level of an "art". I'll admit, many ideas I use in my main webcomic are based off of past things I have read or seen (most prominantly Septerra Core and Bleach), but I still try my best to stay original in my storyline and my characters, trying to introduce new concepts constantly. I think that there are many webcomic authors out there that follow a similar mentality in that they base what they produce from previous works, but they still aim to be original.

Gotta remember the cute boy, though. The cute one that turns out to be evil or something but LOVE WILL SAVE HIM!! XD
(...now I'm making fun of myself. o__O)

sailor moon, tokyo mew mew, DearS, rizelmine, and so many more lack the necessary plot that real readers enjoy. those manga are pretty cute, though ^^
